With a clear vision that the practice of law needed to be more strategic, ethical and close to clients, founding partner Carlos Arruda began the firm’s activities, laying the foundations for a legal practice committed to trust, excellence and lasting results.

A milestone year is consolidating the firm´s reputation. On October 15, a decision with national impact obtained by the team was featured in the newspaper Valor Econômico, dealing with the reduction of PIS/COFINS for transport companies, an achievement that demonstrates the impact and relevance of our work. Also in 2008, the firm was cited in Revista Análise Advocacia 500, confirming the market´s growing admiration for our technical and strategic performance.

Expansion became a reality with the opening of the branch in São Paulo/SP, expanding our presence in one of the country’s main economic hubs and strengthening close relationships with companies and clients. In this same year, another of the firm’s cases gained national prominence: a court decision obtained by the team made headlines again in Valor Econômico, this time regarding injunctions that facilitated enrollment in tax installment plans — an example of our ability to offer effective legal responses in the face of complex scenarios.  

Throughout this decade, the firm consolidated its reputation among the most respected in Brazil, being recognized by Revista Análise Advocacia in the years 2014,2016, and 2017 among the 500 most admired in law.  These recognitions evidence our consistent and ethical performance guided by personalized solutions.  .

In the years 2022, 2023, and 2024, the firm stood out in Análise Advocacia Regional, the result of a trajectory built on solidity, active listening and a continuous presence in the legal challenges faced by our clients. Lawyer  Tatiane Thomé is recognized in the Advocacia Mulher 2023 edition, reaffirming the competence and technical leadership of the professionals who make up our team,  one of the central pillars of the firm’s culture.  

The year 2025 marks a new phase. Under the leadership of founding partner Carlos Arruda, the firm is undergoing corporate restructuring and launching its new brand: Arruda Advocacia Estratégica.

More than just a visual update, the new identity reflects the maturation of our mission and reinforces the values that have always guided us: ethics, excellence, open dialogue, proximity and connections that drive sustainable growth.
